What is the difference between caulking and sealant?
The terms are often used interchangeably, but “sealant” usually refers to higher-movement elastomeric products (silicone, polyurethane, hybrid) while “caulking” often describes lower-movement acrylic products. Our branch specialists can match the right chemistry to your joint movement, substrate and exposure.
Which sealant brands does Cascade Aqua-Tech carry?
We stock sealant lines from Tremco, Sika, Dow (DOWSIL), Mulco, DAP, Nuco, W.R. Meadows, Henry, Soprema and Schnee-Morehead, plus backer rod from Alcot Plastics and caulking guns from Albion, Cox and Newborn.
Do you sell sealants by the case or pallet?
Yes. All six of our BC and Alberta branches supply the trades by the tube, case, sausage, pail or pallet, with volume pricing for commercial projects.
