Neil Pritchard founded Cascade Aqua-Tech in 1987, as a family-run business serving the glazing industry in the Vancouver area. He led the company as it grew to become the leading Canadian supplier of specialty products for the building envelope industry in British Columbia and Alberta.

Raised in Vancouver, Neil graduated from David Thompson Secondary and majored in Science at Simon Fraser University. At UBC, he studied Engineering, but his studies in Building Tech at Red River Technical College, in Winnipeg, formed the foundation of his career and the creation of Cascade.

Neil and his wife, Ranada, have no children, but enjoy their extended family, including Neil’s three brothers, as well as four brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law.

Even in their semi-retirement from Cascade, Neil and Ranada maintain their integral relation with the Company as guardians of Cascade values — those core values that have driven and will continue to drive Cascade forward.

Dave hails from Durban, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, where he completed a Law degree and practiced law before immigrating to Canada. He joined Cascade in sales in 1997. After ten busy years of growing with the Company, Dave , partnered with Neil and Ranada Pritchard in the ownership of Cascade. As President, Dave has been at the helm of Cascade for the past 5 years, successfully guiding the Company through some challenging times, and overseeing the recent expansion of Cascade.

When he is not in the offices of one of the Cascade branches, Dave spends his time biking, playing tennis, or snowboarding with friends and family. His great aspiration is to ride all the stages of the Tour de France!

Victoria Branch Manager

Dave grew up in the house that his dad, a contractor and developer, built in Victoria, so it was almost inevitable that Dave gained an early familiarity with construction. Nonetheless, Dave followed his passion for music to the Victoria Conservatory of Music, and studied jazz at Camosun College, where he was awarded a scholarship. Dave is still active in the Victoria music scene, where he plays jazz, blues and rock n’ roll. He loves to labour in his back yard and garden, and also tries to be active, hiking or playing soccer. He and his wife, Deanna, a teacher, have a daughter and a son.

Dave worked in specialty construction supply for more than 15 years, and has been with Cascade Aqua-Tech for over a decade, so he is comfortable dealing with Waterproofing and Glazing details alike. Whenever possible, Dave attends industry trade shows, including the Fenestration Association of BC (FEN-BC) meetings and Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA) functions. He stays involved and up to date on industry issues and local projects.

Dave says, “I am proud of the team we have built in Victoria and we look forward to continuing to earn your business.”
